Metal Mayhem: Firstly, could you introduce yourself and the other band members for us?
Skorrgh: I'm Skorrgh, and I'm the singer and bassist in Fall ov Serafim. The rest of the band is Ahldrathan - Guitar, K. - Lead guitar, Farnargh - Keyboards and Nirag - Drums.

Metal Mayhem: Some people may recognize you guys from Misteltein. What happened there and how did the forming of Fall of Serafim come about?
Skorrgh: What happened, was that two former band mates, Hel and Nagrinn who left the band in 2004, had without letting us know registered/trademarked the band name for themselves as they left, probably with the intention to give us a hard time. We discovered this and therefore we reformed as Fall ov Serafim instead.

Metal Mayhem: How would you say Fall of Serafim compares to Misteltein?
Skorrgh: The music is much more complex and varied. There is more death metal influences "Nex Iehovae" than Misteltein had.

Metal Mayhem: What can people expect to hear on your debut "Nex Iehovae"?
Skorrgh: Some killer songs! There is black, there is death and thrash metal in it. There is symphonic elements and so on but it's a hell of an aggressive and brutal album!

Metal Mayhem: What can we expect lyrically? Are there any concepts as such?
Skorrgh: Antichristianity! The lyrics deals with religions, death and so on. So the concept of the lyrics would be just that.

Metal Mayhem: We noticed a lot of unusual variations and different elements on the album, how happy are you with the finished product?
Skorrgh: Yes there is a lot of variation on the album and that is mostly the result of a long period of songwriting. We have been able to put down a lot of effort in the song structures and so on. We are very satisfied with the results. There was a lot of difficulties in the making of this album so it's great to finally see the finished product.

Metal Mayhem: What would you say are your main influences when it comes to writing and recording music?
Skorrgh: Musically it comes from many directions. We all listen to different kinds of music so it's hard to say anything specific. Lyrically the inspiration comes mostly from religions, different kinds of literature, philosophy and so on.

Metal Mayhem: "Nex Iehovae" seems to have been received well pretty much everywhere, and has gained some impressive reviews. Have you seen any of these reviews and have you received any feedback yet?
Skorrgh: We have seen a few of the reviews and most of them has been great but the album just got released so it's hard to get a decent opinion yet. The feedback from the people I've spoken with has in a majority only had good things to say about the album.

Metal Mayhem: There have been comparisons to bands such as Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth. Do comparisons bother you at all?
Skorrgh: We're stuck with it. I don't think we sound very much like any of those two but if people can't figure out any other way to describe us, there isn't much we can do about it. In most reviews where a black metal band, that includes keyboards is reviewed, that comparison can be found for some reason.

Metal Mayhem: Are there any tours announced in support of the album?
Skorrgh: No noting for now. We are, however, planning for a release party that will be held in Kopenhagen later this summer!

Metal Mayhem: Is there anything else you’d like to achieve before the year is out?
Skorrgh: To do some shows to support the album, this summer would be the main goal for this year.

Metal Mayhem: Thanks for answering a few of our questions! Any last words/comments/messages?
Skorrgh: Thank you! All abut coming shows and other events concerning the band can be found on our new website at http://www.fallovserafim.se so check it out!
