Metal Mayhem: Thanks for talking to us!
Mortician: Well yea, you should be thankful, shiiiiat, we’re like total rock stars!!! I had to give up a waxing from a Siberian prostitute for this!! ::: Turns around and asks Publicist, "How much am I getting paid for this?" ::::
Roland: Thank you man, we really like this webzine, it has a pretty good balance of local underground and global underground bands

MM: So, can you tell us a bit about Molestation (band members, how you guys formed etc)?
Mortician: Right now we’re composed of Roland, Chano, Kidd, and myself. We have a live drummer named Punx, but we never play live - HA! Our only past member is Filthgrinder (drums). This band started more as an idea than anything, goregrind in this silly town, but it evolved, so yeah...
Roland: Roland La Goy here. I joined in this after hearing Midnight Mortician was looking for some guitarist. Met up and figured this could damn work. Been in a lot of nowhere bands, never get nothing done... this seemed different. So, I decided to put my all into it, stick around... and see what the hell happens.

MM: Your first Demo, “We Came To Molest” has not long been released, have you had any feedback/comments on it yet?
Roland: As far as I can tell... everyone that had something to say, usually did so in a positive way (that rhymes). Though yeah, the things not been out very long and we haven't heard any feedback longer than a sentence... so, as far as what people REALLY think, I dunno.
Mortician: Right, it was released last month. We haven’t had any feedback from zines really, but the people that have heard it seem to really be into it, and also on MySpace.

MM: How happy are you with the final product?
Mortician: I like the fact that it’s different than most grind out there, even than most "original" grind out there. Roland did a great job on the production, mixing, mastering etc. so yea, I love the quality. To answer your question, I’m so happy, I try to raise my killing rate by 200% out of joy!
Roland: Damn satisfied. I personally wouldn't let anyone hear nothing I was involved in unless it was about 102% complete and turned out the way I'd hoped. Trying to get everyone I damn know to listen in on the demo... good stuff I say.

MM: Listening to the demo, its clear that Molestation isn’t your usual run-of-the-mill Grind band, can you tell those unfamiliar what they can expect musically and lyrically?
Mortician: Musically you can expect bastardized death grind, with keyboards! Ooooh! Scary, HORROGRIND! Lyrically, deranged and perverted lyrics about an old lady who rapes little children and buries them in the yard or just about my favourite subject... Killing stuff!
Roland: I think it has to do with what we were aiming for. Basically trying to put horror film to music, extreme metal no less... but, in a way that doesn't get conveyed JUST through grunt lyrics. Wanted to do this as fast as possible (just 'cause) and added in whatever we could to set the scene: concept-oriented instruments, sound effects, symphonic breaks, etc. Can expect just that, like a whole movie forced into 3 minutes of music.

MM: What/Who are the bands main influences?
Roland: Influences vary, but as far as other bands go I'd say: Fuck... I'm Dead, Skinless, Mortician, Machetazo, blah blah. A lot of Molestation has to do with horror and gore. Movies, literature, movie music involving those themes would best describe where the bands music comes from. "B-movies" (even lame "Z-movies" hah), slasher stuff, cult film... everyone catches the stuff at one point or another. Molestation just takes all we (as the band) know and throws it in a big musical vat.
Mortician: Oh don't listen to him, he lies! It’s Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera (only the early stuff before she sold out), and the new stuff from Ashley Simpson; she’s the future of grind.

MM: Have you had chance to play live yet, and are there any gigs coming up?
Mortician: We went back in time and played at the crucifixion of Jesus "G" Christ, the Jews went WILD!!! We also played at the Pope’s funeral; it looked like a Motley Crue concert, except that the people flashing were priests, they also said that our name, MOLESTATION, embodies what the Catholic Church is all about. Man, those were some fun gigs, but other than that nope. We’re not planning to play live or anything… Job, school, molesting, etc…

MM: What do you guys hope to achieve now before the end of the year?
Mortician: Kill as much stuff as inhumanly possible and release a split with Christina Aguilera!!!

MM: What would you like to achieve with the band in the long run?
Roland: I would just like to see Molestation recognized for showing what's possible in a really repetitive extreme genre (Grind) ... taking concepts further and pulling the listener into the music. Maybe influence some others to stray from what's expected.
Mortician: Right, and to kill as much stuff as inhumanly possible

MM: How can those interested get a hold of the demo?
Mortician: If you kill 20 things and send us a list to info@molestationgrind.com perhaps you’ll get a copy, depending on which things you killed and how gruesome it was. You can also download the demo from http://www.molestationgrind.com or http://www.myspace.com/molestation and our bassist gives out our demo at shows along with condoms, because Molestation promotes safe Molestation. So remember kids, if you’re going to rape, sodomize, or molest, use protection.

MM: Thanks again! Any last words/comments?
Mortician: Hellzz geeah, we’s wanna thanks our "O.G." Lou Rusconi for hooking it up with our logo-izzle, it’s hella whack-izzle yo! Geeeah, YEeeeeeeeya! If Molestation could leave any mark upon underground metal, we’d love it to be… KILL STUFF! Perverted sexual thoughts from Molestation, like always \m/ Stay Molested!
